NPOIPL’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SCOPHL, a leading developer of palm oil in West Sepik is pleased to announce its successful application and membership in the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The RSPO is a global, multi-stakeholder organization that promotes sustainable palm oil production processing, and trading. New Membership:1-0425-22-000-00 for a total of 40,000 hectares where by only about 15,000 hectares is plantable and the rest conserves indefinitely.

As a member of RSPO, SCPOHL is committed to producing and sourcing sustainable palm oil in compliance with RSPO’s Principles and Criteria for Sustainable Palm Oil Production. The company recognizes the importance conserving natural resources and the environment, respecting human rights and social welfare especially in the remote area of Sepik Plain and promoting economic growth and prosperity for all stakeholders in the palm oil supply chain in conjunction with the Oil Palm Ministry of PNG.
